Jonestown

On November 18th, 1978, 909 Americans, including 200 children died by apparent cyanide poisoning in what was termed "revolutionary suicide" in Jonestown, Guyana. Only days prior, a delegation consisting of a US Congressman and a group of reporters traveled down to the commune to investigate allegations of violence and abuse. The film depicts that last 48 hours leading up to the suicide, through the eyes of one reporter.
